We are looking for a motivated Associate Transport Modeller to join our Delivery team, contributing to the successful delivery of transport modelling projects using Aimsun technologies. In this role, you will support a wide range of projects for both public and private sector clients, working on model development, data analysis, and technical reporting.
Reporting to a Line Manager, you will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions across Australia and the broader APAC region, while continuously developing your technical skills. You will play a key role in delivering Aimsun Services and Solutions in a timely, efficient, and quality-driven manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
- Support the delivery of a wide range of transport modelling tasks on projects undertaken using Aimsun Next, for both private and public sector clients.
- Undertake transport model development, including model building, calibration/validation, testing, auditing, and analysis of model outputs.
- Assist in the delivery of Aimsun Live/Solutions projects as part of a multidisciplinary team; you may be asked to provide first-line support on Live/Solutions projects.
- Interpret data and information, and prepare clear technical reports, summaries, and proposals for clients.
- Apply data analytics and processing skills (e.g. Excel or Python) to support project delivery.
- Work with your line manager to ensure you are receiving appropriate training and professional development.
- Comply with Aimsun’s policies, processes, guidelines, and procedures relevant to your role and workplace.
