• A single messenger for the sector: We proudly and loudly advocate for our members’ needs to government and industry, while ensuring our profession has a seat at the table when discussing future transport systems in our communities.
• Diverse membership, broad impact: We represent a broad and diverse group of professionals from all levels of government, consultancy, the private sector, and academia.
• Providing professional pathways: We provide extensive and inclusive opportunities for professionals to connect, knowledge share, and develop skills through technical seminars, conferences, and networking events. From emerging to expert professionals, we provide support and guidance to shape every stage of their career.
• Elevating the profession: We proudly showcase the profession as a viable and meaningful career for future generations. We do this by demonstrating the valuable work our transport professionals provide in designing and developing safe, sustainable and thriving communities.

Since the 28 August 2025, AITPM has become known as Transport Professionals Association.
