This is a strategic role with real, visible impact on how Launceston works and grows. As Strategic Transport Advisor, you will lead the planning and delivery of transport initiatives that support a more connected, walkable and liveable city. You will be Council’s subject matter expert in transport planning, shaping strategies and programs that reduce car dependency and improve active and public transport outcomes.
Working across Council and with external partners, you will turn strategy into delivery. From developing forward works programs and securing grant funding to guiding complex projects and policy, this role sits at the intersection of planning, infrastructure and community outcomes. Your work will directly influence how people move through, access and experience the city.
