About this event
Join us for an engaging and interactive technical event on Building Cities, led by Lucy Saunders, Director of Healthy Streets. This is a Gold Coast session focused upon an introduction and application of the Healthy Streets framework.
Developed by Lucy, Healthy Streets is an evidence-based, human-centred framework that embeds public health into transport, planning, and public realm design. Every decision about our built environment is a chance to create fairer, more sustainable, and attractive spaces for people to live and thrive.
The session begins with a short classroom introduction with Lucy, where we will be introduced to the Healthy Streets framework and her expertise on creating inclusive, people-friendly streets.
This will be followed by a hands-on application of the Healthy Streets assessment framework to a nearby local street. The session will finish off at the Gold Coast Tavern for a Healthy Streets wrap up and networking session.
Don’t miss this chance to learn from experts and gain practical, real-world experience.
Registrations close 10am, Tuesday 9 September 2025.
For more information, please contact the team at TPA.
