About this event
The WA Emerging Professionals Network Showoff Night is a chance for you to gain an insight into different areas of the transport industry as our speakers share their great work!
Come along, join other young transport professionals and network in a relaxed setting and hear what some of our early to mid-career level professionals have been up to. This event is not just for EPN it is for all members of the industry.
Our Emerging Professionals Network Showoff Night is an exciting event to celebrate and showcase all the greatness of the Emerging Professionals in the transport industry as well as providing an incredible insight into the different areas of the transport industry we all work in.
It is a fun, informal night and a great way to interact with other young professions, come and see some of Perth’s best talk about what they love most.

Speakers
Harrison Bailey | PTA
Harrison graduated Curtin University with a Bachelor of Civil and Construction Engineering in 2021.
He has five years in the rail industry, during which he has worked in every part of an asset’s lifecycle – planning, delivery, and maintenance.
Harrison now works in infrastructure planning at the Public Transport Authority of WA, being primarily responsible for providing technical advice and engineering assurance to infrastructure planning projects. He has a passion for education and development of future professionals, investing a lot of time into PTA’s vacation student and graduate programs.
Kalan Ralph | Main Roads WA
Kalan works with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) at Main Roads Western Australia's Road Network Operations Centre, using technology to make WA’s road network smarter, safer, and just a little bit cooler. Since starting as a graduate in 2022, he has focused on innovation and is passionate about professional development, committed to cultivating the next generation of transport professionals.
Outside of work, Kalan supports a young family and raises four beautiful children—a fact that strangers in the shops often remark on. In spare time (which is always in short supply), [Name] enjoys exploring philosophy, theology, and agriculture.
Talia Bradmore | Stantec

Talia is a Transport Planner who joined Stantec in 2021, whilst completing a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning. She is passionate about creating better places through thoughtful transport planning. Over the past 4 years, she has gained experience working on a range of transport planning projects such as travel planning and behaviour change (including for Green Star ratings) for schools, hospitals, workplaces, and residential developments, parking management plans, transport policy and transport impact assessment projects. |
Jayden Choo | ARUP

Jayden is an emerging transport planner focused on creating sustainable, evidence-based transport solutions to enhance transport efficiencies, road safety and support an efficient multi-modal transport network. He has developed advanced skills in a range of modelling software including AIMSUN, VISSIM, VISUM and SIDRA, utilising model outputs to influence business case project, inform traffic calming interventions and assist future network upgrades. His experience also spans a variety of projects including parking studies, carbon emission assessments, public transport assessments using PODARIS and events planning policy. |
Peter Koong | ARUP
Peter is an Engineer in Arup's Transport Planning team in Perth. His key experiences include operational modelling in micro- and mesoscopic simulation as well as developing bespoke modelling programs for future mobility initiatives. Whether it is automating model development or producing interactive visualisations of results, his blend of digital skills and experience in transport modelling has been essential in numerous projects with challenging technical requirements.
