As Operations Manager for Matrix Traffic and Transport Data, Noah oversees traffic survey operations across Australia and New Zealand, coordinating field crews deploying up to 30 survey cameras a night for government and engineering consultancy clients.
Noah’s role spans the full breadth of the business — from tendering and project delivery through to procurement, WHS compliance and product development — giving him a ground-level view of how traffic data is collected, analysed & processed, then reported, across the industry.
He has helped deliver everything from intersection and screen line counts for state road agencies to large-scale parking occupancy surveys and ANPR studies for local government.
Noah is also driving Matrix's investment in technology, leading the development of the Matrix Client Portal — a platform giving clients direct access to their survey data, video and reports in one place — alongside next-generation AI-powered camera hardware and machine-learning counting and number plate recognition pipelines.
Through TPA, he's looking forward to connecting with practitioners across the sector, sharing what's working (and what isn't) at the operational coalface, and advocating for better, more accurate data as the foundation of good transport planning.
With a practical, hands-on approach, he's always keen to compare notes with others tackling the same challenges.
