About this event
The QLD Emerging Professionals Network has been given another special opportunity to see inside a vital piece of transport infrastructure - this time, it's the Translink Operations Centre, the monitoring and management hub for public transport Queensland-wide. You’ll get the chance to speak to staff and hear about the issues and challenges they face in their roles and learn how they identify and respond to incidents across the network.
The Translink Operations Centre (TOC) monitors and manages all public transport under Translink's purview, liaising with dozens of bus, rail, and ferry operators statewide and utilising a variety of systems and processes to make sure passengers are kept up to date about anything that might affect their journey. As a QLD Emerging Professional, you'll have the chance to see inside this hub and speak with staff about how they get vital information out to passengers as accurately and efficiently as possible.
Registrations close Friday 14 November to assist in finalising event details.
Registration is limited to 30 EPN members so don’t miss your chance to join us!
