How to Create Great Content: Digital Storytelling for Transport Professionals Webinar | Thursday 20 November 2025
The digital media ecosystem has been changing, with a surge in educational topics ranging from urban design to transport. When done well, this type of content attracts a huge and engaged audience.
Our webinar was hosted by Dr Julian O’Shea—an academic, transport expert and social media creator recognised as YouTube’s Breakout Creator of the Year and selected for Screen Australia’s Skip Ahead programme—and Lucinda Hartley, an urbanist, keynote speaker and entrepreneur named among Australia’s 100 Most Influential Women by the Australian Financial Review.
This engaging session explored social media, the challenges of platforms and algorithms, how to create digital content using just your phone, and how these efforts can lead to real-world impact with a particular focus on those involved in road safety, including policy, education, advocacy and design.
