Fellow
An existing Full Member can become a Fellow via one of two pathways: self-selecting to Upgrade their membership, or being nominated by someone else, including the Branch Committee using the Nominate a Fellow form.
In the case of an Upgrade, typically undertaken during the annual renewal process, applications to Upgrade to Fellow are sent by email to the Branch Membership Officer. Their role is to review the application to confirm that the applicant does meets the criteria to become a Fellow as set out in the Membership and Subscriptions Policy. The Branch Membership Officer may also contact the referees provide, if necessary, to confirm that the applicant does have the required experience.
The Branch Membership Officer is responsible for completing the Fellow Assessment Form which must them be endorsed by the Branch President and/or Branch Committee. The Form shall then be submitted to the CEO through our Memberships team for approval.
The same process above applied for nominations received using the Nominate a Fellow form.
The CEO is the Board's delegate for the approval of Fellows.
Processes for Subscriptions - Government, Local Government and Corporate
Organisational subscriptions are also available for Government Subscribers (including Local Government) and Corporate Subscribers.
Branches do not have a formal role in endorsing these applications but may be asked for advice if the Membership Team has any concerns.
Membership Reporting and Promotions

During Membership Renewal - February to June of each year - the Branch Membership Officer and Branch Committee will be requested to assist in following up on the renewal of their local members, where appropriate.
Branch Committees may be requested to assist with membership promotion campaigns from time to time.
