Policy & Submissions
Branches and Networks are encouraged to consider drafting submissions on key government policy consultation or other strategic policy matters (but not on physical projects) occurring within their jurisdiction.
Any submissions should be prepared in accordance with the guidance set out in these Transport Professionals Association (TPA) documents, noting especially the procedures for policy submissions set out in the Advocacy Guide:
If a Branch intends to make a submission, please advise our team by sending an email as soon as possible.
Submissions should be prepared in draft form for review and approval using this template:

Once the Branch President/Committee is satisfied with the draft, it should be provided to the Policy and Advoacy Manager, Duane Burtt to review and finalise (including adding TPA letterhead) at least 3 days period to the closing date to enable sufficient time for review and adjustments, if needed.
Submissions will generally be lodged by the Policy and Advocacy Manager using a TPA email address, rather than volunteer's personal accounts.
